"Wedding Bliss" Reviewed June 2011

I booked all the rooms for two nights for family & friends for my daughters wedding which was held at Kings Weston House(lovely wedding venue), the rooms were very well laid out, very clean & most of the bathrooms have been re-furbished to a very high standard.
Roz & her staff were excellent, the Chef cooked a lovely buffet for the Friday night, the gardens were beautiful even with the rain.
Marta in reception was so polite & nothing was too much trouble, the young ladies serving breakfast were so good to cope with most of us coming down at the same time & the breakfast was spot on, there was only one complaint from one of the older members of the family & that was, too much noise from the boozy residents in the early hours of the morning (went to bed early as she couldn`t keep up with us)
I wanted everything to be perfect for my daughter & her new husband & it was Thank You so much.

"Great Little Hotel" Reviewed June 2011

The headline says it all. We stayed here for several nights visiting family in Bristol and exploring the Cotswolds and could not have been happier with the acommondation. The staff are helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. the rooms are beautiful, spotless clean and well cared for. Breakfast is cooked to order and very tasty. It can get busy on weekends, in that case the bar is used to serve breakfast as well. We had dinner in the restaurant twice - the food was excellent. I can highly recommend Henbury Lodge and will be coming back for sure.

Stayed at the Henbury Lodge on 17th May 2011 with a colleague and found the Hotel to be a very pleasant experience! We asked to reserve a table for dinner at 5pm and even though normal evening service was not due to start until 7pm they were more than happy to open the restaurant early and the food was delicious (including a delicious breakfast the next day!). Due to work commitments we were out for the rest of the evening but returned about 11.15pm expecting to see no one and return to our rooms but found a very helpful member of staff available to take orders for the bar. The rooms were clean,comfortable and more than adequate and most of all surprisingly quiet even though the Hotel was full so compliments all round for making our stay an enjoyable one.
